10 Innovative Marketing Events Happening in 2015

Marketing events offer unique opportunities to learn, grow, experience, and meet like-minded peers, sometimes in amazing cities with lots to offer tourists!  As the industry continues to evolve strategically and technologically, it’s critical for marketers to educate themselves on the tools and topics necessary for adaptation.

1. AdExchanger Industry Preview: January 21-22 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City
This two-day event aims to offer a showcase into the technologies that will drive advertising and marketing strategy in 2015 and beyond. The agenda will explore topics including the marketer’s data strategy, tips for digital publishing, and a sure-to-be-interesting panel discussion about integrated marketing technology, with speakers from Adobe, Salesforce, and Oracle Marketing Clouds.

2. DMA Email Evolution Conference- February 2-4 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, FL
While social and mobile are consistently evolving as viable communication and engagement tools, email is still the core marcomm channel. This event agenda offers case study content from the Huggies brand; sessions focused on CASL; and tips to build a case for digital attribution. 4. SXSW: March 13-22 all over Austin, TX

6. Modern Marketing Experience: March 31-April 2 at The Venetian in Las Vegas, NV
Pardon the shameless plug, but we’re hoping to see you during the most significant event on our calendar, this year in Sin City! Experts in marketing automation, social marketing, content marketing, and big data will present the strategies and tactics central to making modern marketing succeed in your organization.

7. Gartner Digital Marketing Conference: May 5-7 at Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA

This event is geared toward C-level marketing personnel focused on driving growth for digital marketing disciplines including brand management, digital commerce, marketing analytics, mobile marketing and social marketing. 9. Content Marketing World: September 8-11 at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland, OH
Hosted by the Content Marketing Institute, this event is a great forum for B2B and B2C marketers alike to exchange ideas, and have fun learning about smart content marketing programs. If last year’s Kevin Spacey keynote is any indication, the agenda will be an inspiring hit this year.

10. MarketingProfs B2B Forum: October 20-23 at The Westin Waterfront in Boston, MA
The Marketing Profs Forum is a smörgåsbord of marketing information and topics. There are many workshops to choose from — from marketing strategy and lead nurturing to marketing writing and analytics — the Profs cover a broad array of topics valuable to all marketers. The event promises “a lot of extra resources” for your inner marketing nerd, like workbooks and complementary online learning activities.
