Case Study: OMC Creative Studio Delivers on The Ritz-Carlton Mission

With an unshakeable credo and corporate philosophy of unwavering commitment to service, both in their hotels and in their communities, The Ritz-Carlton has been recognized with numerous awards for being the gold standard of hospitality. The Ritz-Carlton’s mission is to provide genuine care and exceptional products and services resulting in profit leadership. They worked closely with our Creative Studio to ensure that their email newsletter delivers on this mission.

Our strategy: to deliver unique, dynamic content to subscribers based on their previous stays, their status in the Ritz-Carlton Rewards program, their location and more, all in a responsive, easy-to-digest digital newsletter. With a thoughtful redesign, we introduced the following innovations:

• An on-brand, beautiful but flexible framework, making it easy to segment and target Rewards members, non-Rewards members and residence owners

• A dynamic navigation bar, giving readers quick access to the last three properties they visited

• An account box where readers can quickly glimpse their Rewards points balance

• A dynamic social media footer, for English and Chinese readers

It’s clear that we helped The Ritz-Carlton to achieve their mission. The digital newsletter redesign was a great success, upping engagement and revenue significantly, including a 1% increase in open rate and a $1M increase in revenue year over year!
